Artist Profile She uses contrasting vibrant and neutral colors to express the drama she sees in her subjects using a style mixed of realism and impressionism. Her subjects range from landscape and seascape to floral and still life paintings. She has a flare for classic yacht portraits and fishing boats. Carolyn's work is represented in business, educational and private
collections throughout the United States. Her art can also be seen at various
exhibitions and art fairs throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as her studio
by appointment. Artist Statement“My love for the beauty of nature, the quiet comfort that I feel when
secluded in gorgeous landscapes, inspires me to portray those feelings in my
work. Because most lifestyles are now fast paced and hectic, I hope my viewers
find a sense of peace in my paintings, whether the subject is landscapes,
wildlife, floral, seascapes or still life.”
